Our Story
Bridgerland Blue Star Mothers was started in the cache valley area in Feb of 2006, by Rhonda Hunter and Shirly Foltz, just after their sons were deployed to Iraq, where they both spent 15 months.
Although we lived only miles apart, we found each other on a web support group, but we needed something more, a local support group.
So, in Feb of 06, Rhonda,& Shirly began the Bridgerland Chapter of Blue Star Mothers.
Since that time, our chapter has sent over 700 care opackages to military members serving overseas, held many fundraisers for postage,and supplies, and helped families in the Northern Utah area with Food, transportation, and many other needs, as well given many civilians a way to show their appreciation, by giving back to our service members.
We Thank those who care and remember our service members,both past and present.
